New Dupray Industrial Steam Cleaner for Wine Barrel and Bottling Lines Reduces Wastewater by 99.7 %

Dupray, a leading provider of steam cleaning equipment for bottling and barrel cleaning applications, presents the Tecnovap Bacchus steam cleaning system, a chemical-free way to clean that reduces wastewater by up to 99.7% during the cleaning process.

The Tecnovap Bacchus system, provided by Dupray, can be used in three applications for the wine industry: to clean bottling lines, barrel cleaning and hydration, and sanitizing tanks and removing tartrates.

Bottling lines that use regular hot water and chemicals to disinfect or sanitize bottling lines and barrels results in an incredible amount of dirty wastewater being washed or poured down drains, leading to expensive wastewater treatment or undesirable effects on the environment. Typical pressure washers use a staggering 680 L or 180 gallons of water per hour.

However, Dupray dry vapor steam machines saves money on wastewater treatment and chemical use by using as little as 2L or .5 gallons of water per hour. This results in a water savings of up to 99.7%!

Cleaning standards are not compromised, however, despite this low water consumption. Dupray steam temperatures reach up to 192 degrees Celsius, or 378 degrees Fahrenheit, which provides a lethal temperature for bacteria and mold and sterilizes bottles and equipment. This is compared to a typical pressure washer, which in addition to using a great amount of water, only operates at temperatures of about 80 degrees Celsius or 180 degrees Fahrenheit.  The use of Dupray dry steam, which has a 5% humidity content, also provides a high rate at which heat is transferred or absorbed by a treated surface. Traditional hot water baths require a large amount of time for the heat to be transferred and absorbed by the treated surface. In contrast,  Tecnovap Bacchus system provided by Dupray allows for an instant heat transfer, reduce cleaning and sterilizing time.

The use of steam in a bottling line means a complete kill rate in the whole system, from a membrane filter to a fill spout. Because the hot steam can permeate areas that are difficult to reach and don’t allow liquid to reach, it permeates 100% of the bottling line and produces results that traditional cleaning methods can’t compete with.

The process of steam cleaning wine barrels adds longevity to oak barrels, can rehydrate and revitalize the oak, and remove left over bitter tannins and melt tartrates. This added life to the oak barrels can save wineries thousands of dollars per year.

Storage tanks are often areas where tartrates and other substances can cling. However, the Bacchus system will be able to clean the tanks, its steam melting away the residues and the condensation being drained out of the bottom of the tank. The sterilization process can take just 15 minutes, all without the added use of harsh chemicals and again reducing wastewater. This represents a significant savings of time and money.

The system will save money on water consumption and wastewater treatment, as well as save money as it does not use any added chemicals.

The Tecnovap Bacchus line is a secret of the Italian wine industry. Designed in Italy, the system is safe to use in the industry because of its minimal water use and no chemicals. It offers vast environmental benefits in addition to producing such high-quality results.

Restore Areas in Older Homes, Commercial Buildings, and Sanitize with Dupray Steam Cleaners

Dupray steam cleaners provide a practically endless list of cleaning, disinfecting, and restoration solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, medical, automobile detailing, food industry, and other uses. One of the more practical, routine uses of Dupray Steam Cleaners are to clean homes or buildings that may be older, or have frequently used areas that require deep cleaning, as well as restoring tiles and other difficult-to-clean surfaces that can be found in older homes and buildings.

Owners of older or historic homes will be met with a multitude of challenges, one being the task of cleaning wallpaper, paint, stains on carpet or furniture, residue around sinks and faucets, dirty grout, floors, and more, off of sometimes delicate and uneven surfaces.

Steam cleaners can remove wallpaper, dirt and stains on surfaces. Use a special attachment with the Dupray steam cleaners when available to help in the removal of wallpaper. Residues around sinks and faucets can be lifted and removed simply with the use of a Dupray steam cleaner and the appropriate tool attachments.

Baked on foods on ovens and stoves will be removed by Dupray cleaners’ hot steam quickly and easily. Degrease stoves and other grimy areas that can be found in kitchens.

Entranceways also frequently collect dirt and grime. No matter the type of floor, without exception, steam cleaners can clean on them as well as disinfect and deodorize the floor surfaces. Stains will be lifted and taken away from floor surfaces with a steam cleaner. Steamers can be a useful part of routine cleaning.

Grout cleaning is an effective use of a steam cleaner. As you clean, you will visually see the stains being lifted and removed from grout.

Restoration is perhaps one of the more challenging undertakings a homeowner can attempt when moving into an older home. Dirty ceramics can also be cleaned and restored with a steam cleaner, easily and using very little water. Unlike traditional cleaning methods that merely scrub the surfaces of tiles, steam cleaners can reach into the porous surface of tiles and lift out collected dirt and grime.

Rust on surfaces and metal doorsteps, which collect rust and mold, can be cleaned simply with a steam cleaner. You may not think of it, but it’s critical to clean vents, grills and ductwork entries of homes. These areas always collect grease, dust and grime, and need to be cleaned routinely but rarely are. Another place you may not think to look are patio door sliders, but these areas collect a great deal of dirt. Steam cleaners can reach into these areas.

Finally, without using soapy water, use steam cleaners to thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other dirty areas of the house to remove odours, mould, and germs. Steam cleaners reach temperatures of up to 192 degrees Celsius or 378 degrees Fahrenheit, hot enough to sanitize efficiently. The unparalleled steam pressure of up to 121ps permit the grease, adhesives, and other sticky substances to be dislodged swiftly and easily.

The hot temperatures permit steam cleaners to kill allergens, dust mites in carpeting, germs and viruses, bed bugs, mold spores, and other pests lurking in homes. Because they can reach into difficult to-reach-areas the steam penetrates a variety of materials safely and without harming surfaces, they are some of the most efficient, easiest, and effective cleaning methods on the market.

Before you start steam cleaning, remember that you must always vacuum first.

Tips for choosing a professional or commercial Steam Cleaner

Steam cleaner are gaining a lot in popularity these days.  The market is flooded with cheap, asian made and plastic units that go for as low as a few hundred dollars.  But there is a catch : these steam machines are quickly made and will generally not produce enough steam to perform any task, except the easiest residential ones.  If you are looking to start a steam cleaning business or if you simply want a commercial quality steam cleaner, be sure to know what to look for so you don’t end up with bad surprises.  The initial cost should be your last concern if you are in the market for a powerful machine.   First, contact a reputable supplier like Dupray.  Secondly, look for continuous refill steam cleaners that allow the user to work without any down time,  as long as there is water in the water tank. When you run out of water, simply add more to the non-pressurized chamber and you are ready to go for another 2 hour or more!  This feature is very important for contractors or people who need to use the machine intensively.   Thirdly, always look at the temperature output and the operational pressure of your unit. The most efficient steam cleaner will produce steam at temperatures over 300°F and at least 5 bar of pressure (around 70 psi).   You should also consider other features, building materials, the quality of the accessories, the warranty and the reputation of your supplier.
