Using a Steam Cleaner on Hardwood floors?

Yes you can, and it’s in fact excellent for your hardwood floors!  If you have hardwood floors, you know how hard and time consuming it is to clean them with traditional methods.  A good quality and powerful steam cleaner, like the ones provided by Dupray may be the answer.  Not only it will reduce cleaning time, but it will drastically improve the way your wood floors look! Before you start steam cleaning, remember that you must always vacuum first.

To start steam cleaning a wood floor, simply use the floor provided in your accessory kit and quickly attach a microfiber cloth around it.  The microfiber will insulate the steam, retain humidity and high steam temperature and will attract dirt like a magnet!  Simply remove and wash the cloth once it is saturated with dirt.  Keep in mind that excess water is not good for wood floors, that’s why you must always use a thick, good quality microfiber on your steam cleaning accessory.  Always use on sealed wood.

Dupray's Steam Mop

Another amazing option is to use Dupray’s original Steam Mop, the highest quality Steam Mop we’ve found yet.  It is not a gadget, it works on floors, walls and ceilings.
Many of the steam mops on the market are are not powerful enough for these tasks, so check out carefully Dupray’s several models, and we encourage you to take a look at their other floor cleaning machines.    For more information, please contact Dupray at 1-800-881-8482.
